This page explains how to have your iddialifutbol account deleted (the website and the Android app share the same account).
How to request it
From the email address your account is registered to, send an email to [email protected] with the subject “Account deletion request”.
We ask you to send the request from your own address because we need to confirm that the account really is yours — otherwise someone could have another person’s account deleted. If you no longer have access to that address, write and tell us, and we will find another way to verify your identity.
How long it takes
We complete your request within 30 days at the latest and let you know when it is done. In practice, most requests are completed within a few business days.
Data that is deleted
- Your name and email address
- The irreversible hash of your password
- Your favourite teams list
- Your device tokens registered for notifications
- The notification delivery records tied to your account
- Your session and access tokens
Data that is not deleted
- Non-identifiable aggregate statistics. For example, the total number of views of a page. These counters are not held per user; separating out your contribution is technically impossible, and the data cannot be linked back to you.
- Records subject to a statutory retention obligation. Where these exist, they are kept only for the period the law requires and only for that purpose.
What you can do without deleting your account
If you only want the notifications to stop, you do not need to delete your account:
- In the app you can remove your teams from the Favourites tab; an account with no favourites receives no match notifications.
- You can turn the app’s notifications off in your phone’s notification settings.
- If you do not want the email notifications, writing to us is enough.
For details about how your data is processed, see the Privacy and Data Protection Policy page.
